It's a rose. Obviously.

At first, I wasn't sure if I should put this in Photography, or Digital Art > Photo Manipulation. But then I read this; "Please Note: All images submitted to this section should be altered in such way that it is clear you have used techniques other than a filter and/or alteration in the colour of the original," and decided to go with Photography, on the grounds that all I did was reduce the vividness, and since that falls under strictly color alteration, it should be put here; in Photography. If you disagree, let me know.

Thank you. (: I feel like I'm looking at one of those cards, you know, the ones that are supposed to look hand-tinted and what not. It reminds me of that. Warning: I feel a rant coming on. I remember when I first started developing my own prints, and I was doing b&w at school. I saw these fantastic tinting markers at a craft shop, so I bought some, and I had a field day with them. They're so much fun. I should start doing that again...okay, I'm done rambling now.

You are most welcome! I love the look of those cards and you captured it well. I love the rant. The rant is the one I have often. I hope you have some more fun with markers. They are lots of fun. I hope you start doing it again.

I use oil pencels and oil paint. I never was to good with markers. I have a few up in my gallery. I am working on some new hand-tinting/coloring projects at the moment. Hope to submit soon. I regret most of my gallery is digital. (but no photoshop)

Feel free to ramble about hand-tinting to me anytime. I like the subject. :)
